Benson Psychological Services, PC (BPS) started 13 years ago as the private practice of it's President and CEO; Dr. Stacey Benson. Today BPS is an independent mental health clinic which employs or contracts with 5 psychologists, 2 psychology residents and 4 counselors and continues to expand to serve you better.

At Benson Psychological Services, PC we provide general outpatient mental health services in addition to forensic services. We provide individual, couple, family, marital and group therapy.

Our highly trained individual therapists work with the full range of mental health issues with advanced training in treating depression, anxiety, relationship problems, grief and loss, sleep disorders, self esteem, and problems related to sexual disorders and dysfunctions.

We offer several ongoing groups; including daytime and evening groups for individuals who have problems with Compulsive Shopping, Sleep Disorders, Self Esteem, Depression, Anxiety and those with Compulsive Sexual Behavior related to Internet Pornography. Additionally we provide individual (court ordered and self referral) and group therapy for adults and adolescents convicted of "hands off" sexual crimes (voyeurism, exhibitionism, child pornography etc) and for Domestic Violence.

In addition to our therapy services, BPS is unique in their forensic focus. We provide comprehensive forensic evaluations on adolescents and adults who have been charged or convicted of a sexual crime. This includes performing the Independent Examiner evaluations for individuals civilly committed at the North Dakota State Hospital under the Sexual Dangerous Individual statute. We also provide parental capacity evaluations, criminal responsibility and competency to stand trial and a variety of other forensic evaluations.
